In recent years, many elected officials have worked on legislation to help reproductive and gender justice causes. Please see a brief list below of a few of these pieces of legislation. This is not meant to serve as a full list of the bills that have been proposed. Also, this does not serve as an endorsement for any of these bills. This list of bills that have either passed, failed, and/or have been implemented.
Please use this list as an entry point to ask additional questions about the current state of our nation and what else we can be doing. What is missing from this list? What can we do to sharpen proposed legislation? Who are the community stakeholders that can help inform any new policy ideas? And finally, how can elected officials work together across the country to share best practices to achieve reproductive and gender justice?
